出生在爱尔兰海曼岛的Bee Gees(比吉斯兄弟)从小便受到音乐的熏陶，父亲Hugh是乐团的团长，母亲Barbara则是位歌手。9岁那时Barry已经开始歌唱并弹奏父亲送给他的吉他，帮他伴奏的是两个6岁的双胞胎兄弟Robin与Maurice。Robin与Barry那独一无二的嗓音成为日后乐团的著名卷标，Maurice则是在吉他、贝斯及键盘等乐器上钻研。在十几岁时，他们随着父母搬至澳洲，以Rattlesnakes为团名在布里斯本的赛马场表演。1966年的《Spicks & Specks》为他们在澳洲得到首张冠军单曲，1967年三人以Bee Gees为团名正式重返英伦。

 制片人罗伯特·斯梯格伍德要求“比吉”三兄弟演唱组（Bee Gees）为他的影片提供4首插曲。当时，“比吉”三兄弟正在巴黎郊外的一家录音棚录制唱片专辑。他们就把专辑中一首现在的歌曲《你的爱有多深》先给了斯梯格伍德。歌中唱道：“难忘黎明时你的目光，难忘阵雨中你的温存，你驾着夏日的微风来我身边，以你的爱给我温馨，然后又悄悄离开我。你我扪心问一问：你的爱有多深？”

Butterfly Kisses

Butterfly Kisses是指用眼睫毛 (eyelashes) 象翅膀一样地在另一个人的面颊或是睫毛上拍打，常是大人亲热孩子的举动。中文里没有相应的词，暂且翻译成“蝴蝶之吻”好象也说得过去。台湾的滚石唱片1998年底出过一个英文CD叫“SMASH强打旋风”，用Butterfly Kisses作压轴歌曲，他们把Butterfly Kisses翻译成《蝶舞》，好象有点太写意了？！

Lil Hardin-Armstrong was the most prominent woman in early jazz. She played piano, composed, and arranged for most of the important Hot Bands from New Orleans. While working at a music store in Chicago, she was invited to play with Sugar Johnny's Creole Orchestra, from there she went to Freddie Keppard's Original Creole Orchestra, and then led her own band at the Dreamland Cafe at 3520 South State Street in Chicago. In 1921 she joined King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band where she met Louis Armstrong.

They were married in 1924. Lil was Louis Armstrong's second wife and she is generally credited with persuading Louis to be more ambitious, and leave King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band. Lil was a major contributor to Louis Armstrong's Hot Five and Hot Seven recordings. She played piano and sang occasionally, and composed several of the groups major songs, including "Struttin' with Some Barbeque." Lil was the leader of several other recording groups, including Lil's Hot Shots and the New Orleans Wanderers. She and Louis were separated in 1931 and were divorced in 1938, although they remained friends for life. Lil appeared in several Broadway shows including "Hot Chocolates" and "Shuffle Along". In the late 1930s Lil recast herself as a Swing vocalist and cut 26 vocal sides for Decca records. In the 1940s she moved back to Chicago and played as a soloist in nightclubs. She continued to record sporadically up until 1963, often with the old gang of New Orleans/Chicago musicians like Johnny Dodds, Red Allen, Zutty Singleton, Frankie "Half-Pint" Jaxon, Lonnie Johnson, Buster Bailey, Natty Dominque, Lovie Austin, and Sidney Bechet. Lil kept active in the music business for the rest of her life, although far from the limelight. Strangely enough, Lil died while taking part in a Louis Armstrong Memorial Concert in Chicago while playing "St. Louis Blues", just two months after Louis had died.

目前日本爵士乐坛在Bossa Nova乐风方面独领风骚的，首推铃木重子（Shigeko Suzuki）与小野莉萨（Lisa Ono）。但是，虽然两人都是以Bossa Nova音乐做为音乐表演的精髓与骨干，在音乐的呈现与形象的塑造上，却有着截然不同的风貌：如果说铃木重子是Bossa Nova歌坛的「流行天后」，那么小野莉萨则可以被称为Bossa Nova歌坛中的「民谣教母」。与铃木重子的现代感以及都会女子的形象相较，出生成长于南美巴西圣保罗，十岁才回到祖国日本的小野莉萨，自1989年发行返回日本后的第一张专辑唱片以来，基本上都不以花俏和华丽的制作手法取胜；她比较在意的是如何保留Bossa Nova曲风中所包容的原始节奏感与质朴的音色语音质。去年（2000年）九月小野莉萨首度来台所展现的偶像魅力，尽在其如阳光般的灿烂笑容，以及平凡而不染铅华的个人特质中展现无遗；她的人，就如同她的音乐一般，让人感到很舒服、很阳光。

In mid-2002, Lopez released a remix album called J To The L-O: The Remixes, featuring the already popular rap remixes of "I'm Real", "I'm Gonna Be Alright", and "Ain't It Funny", and well as the dance remix of "Waiting For Tonight". The album also included rarer dance and hip hop remixes of her past singles, and a new song, a ballad called "Alive," which was included in Lopez' movie, Enough.

But that's not the end of "Rebirth", recently has been confirmed that J.Lo's new single of her fourth studio album will be "Whatever You Wanna Do" which brings a more vibe and hype than "Get Right." This track is a mix of funk, hip hop and dance. Many are expecting for this new single to bring J.Lo's fourth album to the top, almost the same method used back in 2001.

Rumours have it that Lopez is still to grace her presence in the music scene, with two albums supposedly in production. There is the much hyped Spanish album, a collaboration with husband, Marc Anthony. As well as that, there is also rumours of a new remix album, encompassing hits from Lopez's albums: This Is Me...Then and Rebirth.

Jennifer Lopez owns a production company Nuyorican Productions, in which she is expected to produce some of her upcoming movies. Some of the projects are Carmen, Dirty Girls Social Club, and The Hector Lavoe Project. This company was founded together with her manager, Benny Medina, against whom she filed a lawsuit because of alleged fraud in July 2003.

On their second album, The All-American Rejects continue to forge the power-rock they started with their debut in 2003. Their greatest strength is their driving beats and extra-large guitar chops. At 42 minutes in length, it feels more like 21. However, the band has always had issues with sounding like Green Day or Blink 182, and that is still evident with their sophomore release. This band will have to try harder to individuate themselves from the rest of the pack if they plan on surviving the fickle music business and predominantly teenage audiences that buy their music.

There are glimpses of that individuality with the title song, perhaps the best song on the disc, "Move Along". It's anti-suicide theme set against a trippy drum pattern replete with a children's choir. One of the other stand out tracks, "Night Drive", sounds like the Bay City Rollers 1976 hit "Saturday Night" in terms of its beat. The band attempts a few power ballads in the form of "It Ends Tonight" and "Straitjacket Feeling" along with the final track "Can't Take It". Their success is varied, with "It Ends Tonight" being the best of the three. Elsewhere, "Dance Inside" begins with some great vocals, but then shifts gears into standard rock fare.

Overall, for a band that is still associated with their original hit "Swing, Swing" from their debut. The All-American Rejects continue to put out strong power pop-rock music when most artists are churning out bland top 40 drivel. I noticed that the band jumped record labels from Dreamworks to Interscope, which is usually a bad sign for a band, but hopefully Interscope will realize the potential of this band and encourage them to try new musical directions and expand as artists.
